North Korea, Norwegian Black Metal, and Vice TV

Andrew Sullivan, again - goddamn, that guy is on the cutting edge of so much shit - shares this video tour of North Korea, this morning, that points me to a really exciting, interesting new news source - VBS.TV, Vice magazine's on-line video portal - that I have a feeling I will be visiting often.

And if you can't get yourself worked up about a behind-the-scenes look at the Not-So-Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea, then Vice TV features stories like this one on the Norwegian Black Metal scene.

And if your curiosity about Scandanavian death metal is not piqued, you might check out this visit Vice folks take to the heart of Sudan.

It's a whirlwind of domestic and international news, music, and assorted stories you're not gonna find on network TV, that's for sure.

All I gotta say is: mainstream media is in deep shit.
