Joseph Campbell is another famous and BRILLIANT theorist -- in cultural studies...the most brilliant of the 20th Century, I believe:):):) -- who left his Ph.D. program before he finished:):):)...

He said he had "out-grown" his Ph.D. program:):):):)...

And Roald Dahl, the prolific and brilliant writer of such children's classics as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach, was EXPELLED from his private college preparatory high school, which he wrote about in a brilliant essay, The Expulsion (I believe:):):), that I read while in grad school that helped inspire me to leave grad school to facilitate my own independent work:):):):)...

So omniscient are we that at least three of our most brilliant thinkers (but I would suspect most if not all brilliant thinkers have had similar feelings while in school:):):):) leave school or are kicked out, only to go on an surpass their teachers in their brilliance?:):):):):):):):):)...

So incredibly arrogant are we all:):):):):):)...

Just thinking about how I'm going to explain not finishing those two Master's degrees and that Ph.D. program to potential employers:):):):):):)...

Because the truth may seem kind of incredible:):):)...

But I just wanted time to work on my ideas:):):):)...

And not have someone hawking over me all the time:):):):):)...

So I could strive for brilliance:):):):):):)...

And not mediocrity:):):):):):):)...

And whether my professors know it or not:):):):):):)...

I believe that I have FAR -- FAR -- OUTSTRIPPED their expectations:):):):):):):):)...

Least Possible Necessary Aggression has applications in almost EVERY field impacted by policy or psychology that I've encountered:):):):)...

Education...international policy...psychology and mental health...criminology...environmental policy...economics and poverty policy...business...organizational theory and psychology:):):)...

Because...at it's base...

It's about people...

About understanding their most fundamental needs...

And facilitating their ability to get them met:):):):)...

So that they can achieve more and better in their professional and other endeavors:):):)...and in their lives:):):):)...
