Charles Krauthammer is right

Who's to Blame for the Killing

What America is experiencing in terms of blame and blowback is the consequence of making the decision to go to war for Iraqis without consulting them. But Krauthammer is right. Americans are not slaughtering Shiites and Sunnis today. Shiites and Sunnis are.

Americans are the people who can never, ever get responsibility straight because the spend so much time shifting blame. That, as it turns out, is a universal problem.

And one that I'm quite confident will finally be resolved now that we've figured out that what was needed all along this whole time was the ability to force people to take responsibility.

Now that we have that cleared up, everything should run good as new.

Either that or it won't and none of us will take responsibilty for it and everything will be same old, same old.

That's what progress looks like.
